Celebration Recap
We had a wonderful celebration of Ben’s life on Sunday surrounded by our family and friends. Nothing too fancy; just a fun gathering of the people who loved Ben and wanted to remember the wonderful times that we spent with him.
Our friends Abe & Shan commissioned the plaque shown above for our garden. It’s mounted on a huge stone that will become the central point for the entire garden project.
The stuffed animal drive for the kids getting radiation treatment at the Anschutz Cancer Pavilion has been a huge success. We’ve collected 102 animals (so far) thanks to our family, friends & coworkers. It feels great to be able to organize something so simple that means so much to a child in a scary situation.

I am so glad you liked the plaque, Nate did a wonderful job on it and gave me a break by donating what he could to the cause. :o)
We love you guys, and we still have a couple stuffies for you to add to your drive. Thanks again for having the wonderful gathering. I really enjoyed it, and it was very beautiful to remember Ben in such a wonderful way. You both still amaze me.
