Happy late Halloween everyone!
The folks over at Child’s Play have kicked of their 2006 campaign. They’ve added a few new hospitals and are hoping to exceed last years $605,000. As I said last year, I’m a huge fan of this charity as 100% of the funds raised go directly to the hospitals to help make kids as comfortable as possible.
The plaques we ordered in memory of Ben and Sam for the Anschutz Cancer Center memorial garden are finally in. We haven’t had a chance to go see them yet, but we hope to meet up with the Walsdorf’s sometime soon. We spent a fair amount of time wondering around this garden during Ben’s treatments and I hope that our donation offers the same peace to others.
A big thank you to everyone who donated money for these. Especially to our neighbor Jim and the readers of his blog. He and his wife are going through a pretty tough time, but we love them both all the same.
