Relay For Life Update
Melinda and I are getting ready for the Carbon Valley Relay For Life this Friday. They’re planning on honoring Ben during the Luminaria Ceremony and having the Sleepness Knights play Ben’s Song. We’ve been asked to say a few words at the start of the ceremony which has me facing that old problem of describing my emotions right now. On one hand I miss my son and want to crawl into a hole. On the other I want to start fighting this cancer again. I’m sure I’ll figure something out before Friday.

Friday, August 4, 1006:
3:00 pm - Onsite Registration begins
3:00 pm - Campsite set up begins
6:00 pm - Survivor Reception
7:00 pm - Opening Ceremony and Survivor Lap
9:00 pm - Luminaria Ceremony
