Todd Morin and Dave Brown, two of my colleagues from the Requisite days, have formed a team to ride in the Livestrong Challenge this August 20th. I’m honored to have such great friends riding in Bens memory.

Melinda and I are getting ready for the Carbon Valley Relay For Life this Friday. They’re planning on honoring Ben during the Luminaria Ceremony and having the Sleepness Knights play Ben’s Song. We’ve been asked to say a few words at the start of the ceremony which has me facing that old problem of describing my emotions right now. On one hand I miss my son and want to crawl into a hole. On the other I want to start fighting this cancer again. I’m sure I’ll figure something out before Friday.
