Requisite’s Last Act
The company that I’ve worked for the past six plus years was bought out last November. I’ve spent the last seven months watching people quit, shipping things to the new office in Chicago and dumping 10 years of company history into the garbage. So for all you ex-Requisite folks, here’s a picture of ALL of the remaining Colorado employees escorting the company sign to the dumpster.

Fairwell dear Requisite…you will be missed. :0)
Oh - man that is very sad. Thanks for the picture Dean!
Hi, I was part of a multi-language content team during 2001 at the Requisite HQ in England. Believe it or not, the Requisite sign is still on the building at Heathgate House 57 Colne Road, Twickenham, Middlesex, TW2 6QA. You can see it as my blog at http://autopopuli.blogspot.com/2007/04/many-ways-to-say-team.html, where I tell the story about the demise of our European adventure.
The company had left that location in 2002 and went on to Reigate, Surrey for a couple of years. I lost touch with the few who remained from that halcyon year in Twickenham.
I was the goalie for the company soccer team at a huge five-a-side tournament in September 2001. Out of about 60 participating company teams, we made it to about 12th place, going out in the quarterfinals. We played 9 matches (15 minutes each way), winning 6, drawing 1 and losing 2.
Our team was comprised of an Englishman, an Irishman, a Spaniard, a Portuguese, a Norwegian, a Morroccan and a Frenchman, oh yeah, and a Canadian - me. We played pretty football, but in the end it was the squads with the 19-21 year olds who lasted out.
If there are any people who remember Twickenham in 2001, my best wishes to you and to the good folks in Colorado. Requisite was a good idea that never reached its potential.
Cheers,
Mike Ricard
