Hard To Update
I’ve been working on this post for a while now. I don’t feel like writing tonight, but I need to get this out.
Ben started having headaches Friday morning. He’s had a few headaches before, but we could tell that this was different. He was extremely tired and didn’t want to eat. He vomited up all the pain medications we tried. Our hospice nurse gave us some medicine to control the vomiting and pain. He’s spent the last three days mostly asleep. We’re heading into Children’s Hospital tomorrow morning for a quick CT scan to check for pressure in his ventricles and to get a direct IV line for medications.
Not sure what else to say at this point.

I can’t began to express how much it pains me to read the latest update. My heart is literally aching right now. I am here for you if I can possibly be of any assistance. I would love to magically take all of this pain and heartache away for all of you and especially the unbelievable boy, Ben, whom is enduring more than us all! What a brave soul he has proven to have. I know that all of God’s Heavenly Angels are surrounding each and every one of you to give you strength, courage, and lots and lots of love! Please don’t try to go this incredibly difficult time alone. You have so many friends and family that care so deeply for you and want to be there for you- any time of the day or night!
I can’t reiterate enough how much I care for all of you and want to do anything I can to help!
