Jumbo Sized Fun

My brother Pat and his business partner Fofi used their Jack Abramoff-like lobbyist powers for good and arranged for Ben to feed the elephants at The Denver Zoo. The zoo staff was amazing and went out of their way to make Ben’s wish come true. He was a little scared, but you’re supposed to be around 10,000 and 7,000 pound elephants.

Hold on to your trunk - we got lots of pics…

Grandma Pat gets into the action

Uncle Pat gets a turn

Doesn’t she have beautiful eyes? And Melinda’s aren’t bad either.
(Note to self - get blankets in preparation to sleep on the couch).

Two words - elephant breath.

Grandpa Mike & Grandpa Bill surround themselves with women in order to fight off the winter chill.

Uncle Pete doing his job as Ben’s personal carriage.

Popsicle the polar bear makes another appearance at a Steadman Family event.

Good Morning! Thanks for the pictures. Your mom told me the elephant’s left “slime” on her hands when she fed them, but she didn’t tell me about the elephant breath. WHAT A COMBINATION!

Just want you to know that, as always, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sending much love, Rich & Dottie

    Dear family,
I wanted you to know we put little Ben on our prayer list here at New Creation Church. There is hope in Christ when all other hope fades. We will pray with a fervency for your son and for all of you. Please know our hearts are with you in this difficult time. Our prayer group just prayed a man out of an almost no chance of survival. We will be just as focused on little Ben. We love and care!

    Leslie
