Totally PG - and not like a movie

Yes, that’s right.

Melinda is totally PG; knocked up; with child; in a motherly way; eating for two; baking something in the oven; knitting baby booties… you get the idea.

Ben and Madie have been bugging us for a baby brother or sister ever since two of our neighbors had babies within a few weeks of each other. Every kid (and a few moms) on the block suddenly had baby fever and saw themslef as the coolest big brother or sister.

And it’s not like I’ve ever said ‘no’ to making babies.

We’re beyond excited and feel so lucky to be adding another member to this incredible circle of family and friends.

Oh yeah, my boys can still swim!

What wonderful news, Dave told us about it when we were on the phone Monday. I am sure the kiddos are over the moon with excitement for a baby at their house. Apparently Mom and Dad are excited too! Congratulations to you all and hopefull we will see you all this fall on our visit to Pat and Dave’s.

Big hugs all around, Vicki and Howard

Not feeling very clever tonight so just a note to let you know we think about you every day. Hope Melinda isn’t too queasy for too long. Just think about all those diapers and two oclock feedings and maybe the queasiness will be better. I imagine Ben and Maddie were happy to go back to school and tell all their friends about their adventures in San Diego. Love the picutres of your trip. Love, VIcki and Howard

  10. Rich & Dot says:

What cute babies! Too bad we live to far away to adopt one (ha!) Our dog, Holli, is about all we can take care of these days.
We send our love and special thoughts of you.
    Much love, Rich & Dot

My thoughts and prayers are constantly with Ben and your whole family unit. Please call on me if you need anything. Ben is such a special boy to me and the kids…. Oh how he has touched so many lives with his beautiful spirit. Madie is a beautiful person on the inside and out, too! I have enjoyed getting to know her in preschool. She has an air of confidence and charisma about her that will take her whereever she wants to go in life! And you and Dean are such incredible parents! I am so excited to hear you are adding an addition to your family! What a blessing… for you and the baby! You two have provided more love, nurturing, and joy in the lives of your children than some parents do in a lifetime!!!!

Please remember that throughout your journey through this difficult time in your lives that you must lean on friends and family for support. NO ONE should travel difficult roads alone. That is what friends and family are for. Not only to enjoy happy moments with, but also, to endure the hard ones with! We’re here for ya’…. call on us!

    All our love and prayers,

    Alisa, Graycee, and Jayce

I just wanted to remind you that your family is included in prayers and positive thoughts regularly in Sooner land. I am so glad for your web page. I am able to keep myself and others in my circle informed of how Ben is doing. He is asked about often by many people in Oklahoma who care. Blessings and love to all of you.
