One more day to vacation!
We leave for San Diego on Saturday and the excitement is almost boiling over. I really need this trip between the stress of a new job, a few doctors appointments and the general busy schedule of a parent.
I can’t imagine how Ben feels. The wish granters were over on Monday to deliver all of the paperwork for Ben’s wish. He really got excited when they talked about the elephants.

Dean and Maddie….have a wonderful Birthday in San Diego!!! And the entire Steadman clan have a great time as well. We will miss you and I expect to see pictures, when you get a chance.

I am so very, very happy that you all are off on the adventure of a lifetime! Tell Ben that I also love elephants! I love them because they care so much for each other and never leave one that is sick. They are the greatest of all animals in my book! My husband was able to get up and a little too personal almost with one in Africa in 2003. They ned to be respected as they are not just dumb animals and they will do anything without even having to think to twice to make a decision to take care of each other and apparenlty that is what this elephant was trying to do!
I collect elephant sterling silver charms and have a little bracelet I put them on. They are very inspirational to me! I think Ben must have a guardian elephant angel looking out for him!
I hope your adventure will give you all a tremendous amount of fun and memories to share! Take a MILLION photos! The more the merrier!
